Spring break has finally kicked off! All the students are now enjoying their two weeks of freedom without any classes. With the seniors graduating this year the school has decided to host their annual Masquerade ball for everyone in town. Yes, even people from the neighboring town are invited to the ball. With the student council and the staff working overtime the ball is finally ready! Yet something is different about this year's event. It may be because the senior members of student council decided to go out with a bang,
He had found Aurora and basically ended up telling her everything. It wasn't like she didn't already know what they were. He caught her up on why they were so banged up. He sighed and eventually was told to go cleaned up. It didn't feel like he had taken too long. After getting cleaned up and changing in his room. He never told demy he had moved in with Aurora. He walked back out to where he had left her.
How did this happen. When did it happen? He wasn't sure how she went from annoying to wanting to make sure she didn't do anything stupid. He wasn't even aware of his feelings. No he was in denial about his feelings for her. It wasn't till after he thought he lost her that everything clicked.
"Demetria."he whispered as he knelt down beside her. He slowly scooped her up and took her down to the room Aurora had set up. He laid her on the bed and took a seat on the chair beside her. He was going to make sure she didn't leave. They both lost so much. He wasn't going to lose her. Not right now. It wasn't long before he succumbed to sleep.
Demetria remained asleep, she hadn't heard him whisper her name, nor did she feel him picking her up and carrying her into the room. She woke up a few hours later, there was a chair close by the bed. She couldn't help but find it interesting that it was there but the cat curled in a ball was cute. She reached out and snatched him carefully in her arms before pulling him into a hug.
In her defense, she thought Aurora had owned a cat. She didn't know it was Gideon in his cat form. Had she known, she still might have hugged him but that is for another time. With the cat on the bed next to her, she found herself drifting off to sleep.
he must of been more tired that he thought. he had felt someone on him. he had shifted back to his human form. his eyes scanned the person next to him. he was expecting it to be aurora. once in a while she'd have terrible nightmares and one way or another she crawled into his bed.
it had been such a long night. he almost didn't realize that he wasn't in his room. he wasn't sure if he should move away from her or just let her sleep. knowing her it was the only time she had to rest. he sighed softly and figured it was best if she woke up first. he was so going to tease her. he felt her stirring and he quickly closed his eyes. pretending he was still asleep.
Demetria felt herself waking up, her arm was over somebody instead of the small form it had been over during the night or at least that is what she had thought happened. Her eyes opened to see that Gideon was on the bed next to her. Since his eyes were closed, he'd miss her cheeks going pink from being embarrassed that she was this close to him.
She didn't normally get embarrassed so breathing in and out wasn't normally heavy either, but being so closed to Gideon, she felt somewhat excited but at the same time confused. She looked around the room, noticing that she wasn't on the floor where she had thought she dozed off.
Sure in the middle of the night she had noticed but was to tired to move but now that she was awake on the bed she couldn't help but wonder what happened last night. As far as she was concerned, Gideon was a huge flirt, but seeing as he had his clothes still on, she had ever reason to believe nothing happened.
Still, she wasn't ready to see him waking up. Her face was still red from embarrassment and she pulled her arm away, moving to the edge of the bed before falling off of it and onto the floor. The landing wasn't nearly as bad as when she had tried putting weight on her injured arm.
Oh, right, don't put weight on it either. I already did so much with this arm after it got injured, now I'm making it worse... She pulled herself up to look at Gideon laying on the bed still asleep, remembering that she had slept with the phone meaning it was somewhere on the bed.
When she couldn't find it, she decided that Gideon must be laying on top of it and she tried reaching under him to get it back.
he was trying so hard not to laugh. if only he could see the look on her face. he knew she was awake if it wasn't by the way she was breathing it was surely the fact that she had fallen off the bed.
now he wished he would of seen that. he wanted to peek but he didn't dare open his yes. it wasn't until he felt something touching him did he start to chuckle. well now the cover was blown. if he was going to say something it would have to sound like he was still half asleep. he was still laughing."hey that tickles."he said as he rubbed his eyes.
Demetria wasn't expecting him to make a noise, she wasn't trying to wake him but he started rubbing his eyes and she felt like she had lost the chance to get the cell phone back from him. "Mhmm..." She decided was the best reply, still trying to search for the cell phone that was last seen on the bed.
Where is it? Not having his cell phone wouldn't be the end of the world. Then she looked closer at his outfit. Was he wearing that yesterday? Oh hell who cares... Maybe he left to change and came back before going to sleep... She didn't know that he had only gone in the other room to change, all she knew was that he was living somewhere besides her place.
Being reminded of that fact made her slightly sad, finally she got her grip on the phone and pulled it out from under him to look at it. So far no calls back. Still, if there was a chance of Layla being a prick and calling in, she wanted the phone instead of him. I have got to come up with a plan of getting rid of her without dragging Gideon into it.
Since Gideon was awake now, it seemed like the perfect time to ask him what the hell happened last night? It wasn't everyday the guy you started caring about woke up in the same bed as you, but then again she rarely slept so it was possible that was the reason it rarely happened.
To bad for her, she was too nervous to ask. So she just stood hovering over him with the cell phone in her hand instead, though her focus was on him instead of the phone. "Where'd Aurora's cat go?" She would ask about the cat first.
