█ NAME
TAIYOU KOGAWA
█ ALIAS
—
█ SERVAMP
CHIZURU HIROTA
█ SEXUALITY
BISEXUAL
█ ABILITY
DREAM MANIPULATION — He has the power to enter someone else's dreams and manipulate them to his will. He can also just sit on the sidelines and watch the dream go on without interfering. His power can inflict wounds in reality if he does them in the dreamscape, although they won't be as noticeable as they would be in the dreamscape. So even if he causes a life threatening wound in a dream, it wouldn't be life threatening in reality. The only way he can cause anything similar to a life threatening wound would be to kill the person's dream self.

BIOGRAPHY
He spent his early home life happily with his father. His father and mother had separated due to the cruelty she displayed. He was just a year old when it happened, and does not remember it at all. Those happy years lasted up until he was nine years old. His father had died from a heart attack late one night in his sleep, Taiyou was devastated, and was sent to live with his mother. He learned that life with her was not easy. After not seeing each other for a good eight years and being forced to pay child support for him for those eight long years without ever seeing him, she refused to call him her son, and she had told him not to call her his mother or else she'd punish him. That wasn't exactly the thing he needed to hear when his father had just died, and with the fact he was finally able to see her after all these years. Even if he didn't know her for most of his life, he always wondered what she was like, especially since his father would never speak about her. He did slip up a few times and called her mom, only to have her lash out at him. He learned to just consider her a legal caretaker rather than anything else. Him and his father had lived in Osaka, while his mother lived in Kamakura. That meant moving, and he knew he'd be on his own from there on out for the most part.
His mother never really cared what he did, as long as he obeyed her and her rules and didn't talk much, they wouldn't have any problems. He didn't like when they did talk anyways, because when they did, she was always cruel with her words He spent as much time away from home whenever possible. He hated it there. At age 14, he eventually left and moved in with the one close friend in Kamakura, and that was Chizuru Hirota. She was a lot like the mother he never had. She wasn't old enough to actually be his mother, as there was only a ten year age difference between the two, but it was a big age gap nonetheless. He couldn't consider her anything else. She was very skilled at keeping her vampire status a secret, but that changed when one night they'd been out on a midnight walk and ended up getting jumped on the way home. Taiyou didn't react well to it and ended up getting shot by one of the perpetrators, in which Chizuru acted accordingly and made him a subclass, alongside taking out the shooters. He was only fifteen at the time.
It freaked Taiyou out. He was just dead. He honestly believes he should've stayed dead. It'd be best for him and for everyone around him. Chizuru stayed with him in her attempt to calm him down until dawn. She knew how to handle him, seeing as she's helped him through out many of his breakdowns. Eventually he calmed down and she brought him back home, telling him that she'd call him in sick for the day so he wouldn't have to go to school. She told him he should just rest up and take it easy, and that she'd explain everything to him tonight. After that, she left for work. When she came back that night, she explained to him about what she was, and what he was now. He didn't like the idea of being immortal, not even slightly. He still firmly believes he should've died that night. Wasn't he just a burden on everyone anyways? He had a pained expression on his face for the next few days after he learned everything. After a year, he finally came around to accepting what he is.
At age sixteen, he dropped out of school and started working as a clerk at a nearby convenient store. Chizuru wasn't pleased with what he's done, but she wouldn't force him to live his life the way she saw fit. He could do what he felt he needed, and she would support him. And life's been that way ever since.
