meet the little hermano of my bitchy woman, ximena. they used to be super close - attached at the hip. up until she left for school, they shared a room, too. he's 5 years younger, but she was the only one to treat him like an adult. to treat him like he wasn't just some nosy little kid. however, he was always the favorite of their parents. while mina didn't approve of the terrible side business their parents were running - selling off secrets, trading black market goods, maybe even selling people... - he was okay with it. he had grown up knowing only that since their great-grandfather passed away when he was too young to remember, and their grandfather lost his mind shortly after their grandmother died. he thought it was okay. but ximena knew better.<p></p>
but he was always told he wouldn't be in charge of the business unless he wanted to. he grew up learning about the business - how to extract just the right hair for cores; how to help young wizards and witches select the right wands (and rip them off in the process, too). he knew how to run it while his older sister ran off, slacking her life away at school or running amuck in the no-maj world. so when she told him that she wasn't going to take over, he knew he told their parents. and their relationship severed after that.<p></p>
what he did afterwards is up to the player, along with his <b>face</b> and <b>name</b>, really. in my mind he went off and ended up running the family business with their parents, but he hates his sister for it. honestly though we can do whatever - i just want her little hermano around to screw things up for her. it would also be great if they were on oppossing sides, but, ya know - to each their own.

when they were younger, ximena and cecily were the best of friends. the two of them, along with cecily's brother <b>manny</b>, would play on the streets of tallahassee like nobody's business. people viewed the three of them like cousins, although nobody knew where ximena came from, really. it was just that open, friendly kind of neighborhood. i picture cecily as being hispanic as well - mexicana, puerto rican, etc. - but she's really up to the player in that regard. but depending on what she is, it may change the neighborhood in which they grew up together.<p></p>
around the time cecily & ximena were 8 or 9, there was a drive by shooting on the land between two gangs and the three of them ended up getting hit with bullets. manny died on the scene, but cecily definitely had the image of ximena kneeling over manny drenched in his blood, desparately trying to save him. the image was so strong that even after they were all obliviated, she still remembered. the family moved away and no one remembered the little hispanic girl other than cecily. she ended up chalking the girl up to her imagination.<p>

at least until she saw ximena again eight years later. she had moved with her family to new york city and out of the blue there was ximena, asking about manny, pretending she had never met cecily in her life. and although she couldn't understand what was going on, she was determined to figure it out. so cecily ended up joining the NSPS and realizing that there was magic in the world. and she blames ximena for her brother's death: be it because she still doesn't remember and thinks ximena killed him; or because she had magical powers and couldn't save him; or because she got her memory wiped by wizards. whatever the reason, cecily hates them all.<p></p>
even though she is 23, she has worked her way up from the poverty her family lived in during her youth into a healthy wealth, mostly ruling over the slums with an iron fist. she's cruel and ready to take down anyone who stands in her way. especially for revenge. how she got there, what she does, and everything else is up to the player. you can change her last name, pick whatever face, and decide her history -- let me know if you're interested.
