Black Sun Rising | Secret Circle AU, Witchcraft in NYC

The modern world holds many secrets, the most astounding being that witches still live among us. Nine of the thirteen witch families came to America under the rule of the Witch King, Malcoin Blackwell and resided in the village of Salem. After the witch trails decimated their faith, their coven fractured.

Some of the families went northwest, to find what is now Chance Harbor. Others went southwest, settling in the area that is now called New Orleans. The ones who remained loyal to the Blackwell family moved merely a hundred miles away, at an intersection of ley-lines..and they named their township New Hope.

Black Sun Rising is a modern day Secret Circle Role-play, but with an expanded story to include witchcraft from all regions and cultures. John Blake Blackwell has arranged for three covens to be born, all with access to magick beyond what has been seen since the time of the Witch King himself.
