BIOGRAPHY
Galen was born in Athens, Greece around four hundred years ago. His parents were always there to support him, though his sister took off when he was five to tour the country with her band. So growing up he really didn't get to see his sister. The only form of communication he got from his sister was a letter every year for his birthday. In order to feel closer to her he listened to all of the songs her and her band played. But he wasn't sure how close he would be able to to get to his sister, considering she was thirteen years older than him.
He lived the first thirteen years of his life pretty well with just his parents and servants for company. Considering he came from an elite family he had people serving him hand and foot. He always had private tutors taking care of his schooling. His parents figured he would really be able to make something of himself if he had the best tutors money could buy.
When he was thirteen his sister fully came back into his life and ended up turning his life upside down. His sister told him she had come back because she felt it was time he learned the truth. He had no idea what she was talking about. Imagine his shock when he found out his sister was actually his mother and his parents were his grandparents. He wasn't sure what to do, so he did what he usually did when he had been hurt and started to push his family away.
His actual mother did try and get him to open back up to them, but it took another three years before he was willing to even let his family get close to them again. His sister wanted to talk to him about his father and why they had hidden the truth from him. It turns out his father was a model who had run off the second he found out she was pregnant. If everyone knew he came from a young mother and a deadbeat father they would have scorned him. They had only done it to protect him.
He was still hurt about everything that had happened but he grudgingly accepted the reasoning his family gave him. It wouldn't look good for the family if this got out. It would be better if they just pretended his grandparents were still his parents, and his mother was still his sister. It was a little after this that Amaryllis got word from her band that they had been offered another chance do a tour, but in Japan.
Amaryllis wanted to tour with her band, but she also wanted to spend time with Galen. She asked if Galen would come with her. He reluctantly agreed to go with her, unsure if he actually wanted to go with her. However he knew it would do some good to tour the country with her. So he joined Amaryllis on her tour and got to spend time with her.
For the longest time he toured the world with his mother but eventually he got tired of the same old things. So he eventually decided to create his own path. So him and his mother went their separate ways. However he promised to still keep in touch with her and his grandparents. After that he just went from place to to place until he came across Kamakura and Takayama. He has recently taken up a job as a personal bodyguard.
