BIOGRAPHY
Kaliko is the second born child to Roselani and Balazs Aikane. Their firstborn child was given up. Forced to live with his grandparents due to their parents' mistakes. Now one might wonder why the two who had given up their firstborn would keep their secondborn. Well, let's back up a bit here and find out!
Roselani and Balazs were forced to give their firstborn up, due to a lack of supplies and money to raise a child. They started working further and earning money so if they ever wanted to have a child they would never have to give it up. It broke their hearts having to give their son up. The worst part was, As Noalani was groaning up, Balazs' parents kept in contactless and less with them. So from the time Noalani was twelve, his parents refused to contact him, saying he was fine that he was not needed and Noalani had no interest in meeting the parents that had left him. That, being a parent, was the hardest thing ever for them. As Balazs got older, Roselani started getting scared. She didn't want to lose her husband, the only person she had left in her life. so it was agreed that she would no longer need an eve, that if she wanted to keep him she would have to commit another taboo by killing her husband.
Which was exactly what they had done. When he woke up he was both shocked and scared. He didn't know what had happened. After she explained that she had done it so they could be together, he really couldn't be angry with her because he was scared of dying and leaving her alone as well. It was nearly one hundred years later when Kaliko came into the world. He might have been an accidental child but Roselani was so happy. She was finally getting a second chance with a son. Balazs on the other hand was scared. Not only was this child a human but he tends to be absent-minded so he would always get hurt. Needless to say, they loved him unconditionally though.
When he was twelve years old he found out that he had a brother somewhere out there. That his parents had to give him up in order for the child to actually have food and other items he would need growing up. Kaliko, at that point, wanted to know everything he could about his older brother. asking if he could meet him. When his mother told him it was impossible that he had probably already moved far away by now, that his 'parents' he was staying with had died long ago Kaliko was determined to find him anyways. He knew his name, he knew what he looked like. Well okay, he knew what the younger version of his brother looked like. But he was determined to meet him. So He bothered his parents until they let him go looking for him.
Seeing no harm in it they said he could, but they didn't want him alone since he was still just a mortal after all. so they would always accompany him on the journeys because they wanted to meet him, to be honest. Kaliko could swear he was getting closer to his brother. It was as if he could feel him close. So on his eighteen birthday, he went to a bar that had been rumored to see a guy of similar qualities. Needless to say, Kaliko and his mother were so excited to think that he might be there. sadly for him though the man had just moved on and he was headed south, they had no idea where he was going. Getting pissed off the redhead had actually lost his temper. this wasn't fair if he had only been there a week before!
It was then he realized something. If he was going to track his brother it could take many, many years maybe even centuries.. Being his birthday he asked his mother for one present. The only thing he'd want. Death. Being in pure shock his mother refused to say she already killed her husband she would not kill her child. Losing his temper he told her if she wouldn't he'd find someone else. That thought scared the poor woman so needless to say the boy got what he wanted. Leaving his family he promised to keep in touch and tell them if they ever found him. After nearly two and half centuries he finally caught a break when a white hair angel had told him where to find the man he wanted. So needless to say he was headed to Takayma, Japan to find his brother at long last, he was super excited!
