Events
Spring break has finally kicked off! All the students are now enjoying their two weeks of freedom without any classes. With the seniors graduating this year the school has decided to host their annual Masquerade ball for everyone in town. Yes, even people from the neighboring town are invited to the ball. With the student council and the staff working overtime the ball is finally ready! Yet something is different about this year's event. It may be because the senior members of student council decided to go out with a bang,
she really didn't need the extra credit, but she wasn't going to pass up the change to get some. especially when the task was rather easy. okay maybe it wasn't but she got to spend her time inside. it was currently raining. don't get her wrong she loved it when it rained. she loved to sit by the window and read, sipping on hot tea as she relaxed.
she dropped a couple of books while she was day dreaming about hot tea and reading. instead she scored herself a job returning the books people checked out back onto the shelf. it was only for today and they told her she didn't have to get all of them put away. she was going to try her best. she put the few remaining books in her arms away and returned to pick up the ones she had dropped.
she turned around to fast and tripped over the foot stool she was using for those places that were just a bit too out of her reach. if only to make matters worse someone had witnessed the whole thing."oh, sorry about that. i'll move out of the way."she told them as she once more collected the books.

Rebecca had some research to do for one of her classes, so she decided to head to the library. The library was definitely the place you wanted to go if you wanted to do some research. She had been given a month to work on the research, but she still wanted to get it started. She wasn't one of those that put something off to the last minute. She wanted a really good grade, and she didn't see that happening if she put it off to the last minute.
Reaching the library she quickly began to look around. She wasn't exactly sure how the books were set up, so she didn't know where to look to get what she was looking for. Well it would probably work more in her favor if she actually remember which class it was for and what she was looking for. There was some subjects she could dismiss; since, research was never done for those classes.
Frowning thoughtfully she made her way onto another aisle and absently looked through the books, still trying to remember what she was suppose to be researching. From her peripheral vision she watched as a girl headed in her direction, down the same aisle she was in. She turned her head slightly wondering if she worked in the library.
Of course since she was watching the other girl she witnessed her tripping over the step stool. Concerned she took a step closer to the other girl without realizing it. She was relieved to see the girl hadn't gotten hurt. It was only than that she noticed the other woman was speaking to her. "No, no, it's alright. There's really no need to apologize. You're talking to the girl that somehow trips over nothing," she admitted with a chuckle. "Anyway my name is Rebecca Johnson, but you can call me Becca."
she laughed softly setting the books on the step stool that she had just so happened to trip over. she dusted herself off and smiled at the person that just so happened to watch her tumble."im usually not this careless. i hope i didn't hit you with any books."selina asked with a bit of concern. selina herself was just fine. the only pain she felt was the metal hitting her shin, but other than that she was fine. she'd probably get a bruise later.
she had quite a stack and she hadn't seen anyone else down here, but with the library being so big it was possible the girl could of been standing near by quiet as a mouse. she smiled once more."glad to know im not the only one that happens to occasionally."she laughed once more. she picked up the books a couple at a time and started to place them back on the shelf."it's nice to meet you becca, i'm selina lenoir, but you can just call me selina."she smiled politely once more, not sure if she should stick her hand out to shake the girls hand or bow.

Rebecca shook her head when she heard the girls question. "No, no it's fine really. You didn't hit me with any books. But are you okay? It couldn't have been pleasant running into that stool." she pointed out, l letting concern color her tone. She really didn't like to see people hurt. So she hoped the woman hadn't gotten injured when she had run into the stool. She listened to what Selina had to say and couldn't help but grin. She was sure it happened to everyone every once in awhile.
"It happens more than I actually want to admit," she admired making a face. "I have a bad habit of not really paying attention to my surroundings, so it's no wonder I'm clumsy." she followed this with a small laugh. She knew she needed to get better at fixing some of her bad habits, but she wasn't sure how to go about doing that. She gave the other woman a friendly smile when she introduced. "That's a lovely name. It's a pleasure to meet you Selina." Due to her loss of memory she was never sure of the proper way to introduce oneself.
she sighed with relief. she was glad to hear her tower of books hadn't rained on her."oh, yes im alright. a little embarrassed and it was a bit painful, but i doubt its anything serious. like stubbing your toe."she told her with a laugh.
selina couldn't help but laugh once more. there had been various times when she's taken a spill. tripping over her own feet or simply tripping over nothing."its alright, so long you don't get seriously hurt."selina told her with a nod.
selina smiled and found it slightly odd she hadn't given her name in return. it was alright, the girl seemed rather shy and soft spoken."oh thank you and its nice meeting you too. hopefully i didn't interrupt your book search?"she asked curiously.
"i don't actually work here, but i'll be glad to help you find some books."selina told her with a smile."sorting books for extra credit. yes im this much of a nerd."she laughed softly.
