BIOGRAPHY
Born in 1799, Alistair was born in England to a lower class family of servamps. As a young child, he grew up in an economical depression and didn't know much in terms of luxury. But that didn't matter to him. He didn't need luxury to get by. Life was poor for him until the Victorian era came around. That was when his younger sister, Audrey Nyx, was born—he adored her to no end and he had no problem spending a fortune he didn’t have on her. His favorite gifts to give were toys and his personal favorite, sweets. Her favorite gift from him was a doll she named Minerva. He often stole the gifts he wanted to give her and if anyone would try to stop him that’s where he’d show off his powers as a servamp. He got called a demon by most folks, but he didn’t mind. Anything for his little sister.
He spent a close fifteen years with his sister before she was abruptly murdered by another servamp and her eve. If only he didn’t leave her alone to go rob a candy store. When he came back she was nothing but a bloody carcass. If he would’ve just stayed with or brought her with he could’ve protected her. Or he could’ve died in her place—she didn’t deserve this. She was just a young, innocent young girl. The only thing he had to really remember her by was that doll he gave her that she loved so much—Minerva. Completely disorientated and dissociated from his surroundings and reality itself, he dragged his sister’s dead body home all while talking to her like he normally would. Of course, he didn’t notice the scene he was causing at all. People were freaking out but he was too out of it to notice. When he finally came back home, their parents were waiting for them.
Frantic, his parents forcibly shook him until he came out of it. It took a while of shaking since he was so lost in his own mind over the death of Audrey, but he did finally come out of it. That's when he started to freak out and have another breakdown, albeit one more attached to reality. The breakdown lasted a couple of days, and before long he was dead set on revenge. But first, he had to deal with the police since he did drag his dead sister’s body home. Of course, he was accused of murdering his sister, but they eventually convinced them he wasn't the one responsible. Even if they did convict him he could easily get out of whatever prison they threw him in. He’d get his revenge one way or another. In the dead of night, he took his sister’s doll Minerva, placed it on his shoulder and set out to the spot his sister was killed started looking for leads. And he found one—the scent left behind by the servamp. For now, it would be enough to go on. All he had to do was track the scent.
He knew he didn't have the sense of smell to track the whole entire scent down—just a good enough one where he could find the scent and find the exact scent. So he stole a pack of bloodhounds from some hunter in the woods. It wasn't like he was going to keep them, he'd return them once he was done using them. Tracking the scent led them to an abandoned warehouse where his sister’s murderers were. He knew what he was going to do. Shooing the dogs away, he hid Minerva somewhere where he knew she’d be safe. After that incident, he started talking to and treating Minerva like she was a living, breathing being. It was his own form of coping with the loss of his sister. He had to keep her safe, and in order to do that she couldn't join him in this battle.
He stepped inside the warehouse only to find himself overpowered by the duo. The servamp was much stronger, and she had an eve to boot. They took his left eye and told him to leave before they took something more precious to him. He tensed up in a fit of rage on site—they killed his sister, what more could they take? But knowing that he couldn't handle them on his own, he fled. He swore he’d be back one day. Taking Minerva from her hiding spot, he ran home. A few years passed and he started growing his bangs out to cover his left eye. He didn't like the bandages he was forced to wear over it. He was steadily growing stronger, with him training each day. But he knew he couldn't do it on his own—he needed an eve. Thus he set out one evening on the look for one. He came across a man who was well built and he decided on him. It was a night of endless drinking between the two—it was perfect. He could tell him all about his power as vampire and he’d be more willing to become his eve because he’d end up thinking he was playing around. And that's exactly what happened. With the name Oli, and the item of handkerchief, the drunken man called out his name. To his surprise, Alistair wasn't lying. Alistair made sure to take some of the man’s blood and he passed out from surprise right after.
The man found himself awakening in Alistair’s room. Alistair was just leaning against a wall, waiting for him to wake up. He told him he’d release him from his service as his eve once he helped get rid of the servamp and eve that killed his sister. He didn't tell the man anything about a servamp’s and an eve’s relationship so he’d think he was more inclined to listen to Alistair. And he fell for it. Every command that the man would bark out would be done, but Alistair told him it was simply his way of giving thanks for helping him. He fell for that as well. The two trained day in and day out until they felt they were ready. Hopefully the two could still be found at the warehouse. Of course they weren't there, it's been years since there was a murder similar to his sister's death in England. But there was one that happened in Germany that was similar. He convinced his eve to go to Germany with him so they could track them down. The two disguised themselves as detectives so they could get everything the police knew. It had a pretty large chance of failure, but luckily luck was on their side.
It took months of searching but they had finally found their new lair. They entered it and during a long, exhausting battle they finally killed the eve. The servamp, with her eve dead, started to panic. She couldn't stand up against two of them. She knew that. But they didn't have any secret exits in their lair yet. That meant only one way out, and that was through the front. She tried her best to escape, but it all failed when Alistair’s eve landed a killing blow to her. Alistair congratulated the man and told him he’d have to take more of his blood in order to release the contract. He was lying of course. He ended up snapping the man’s neck once he was close enough. He wanted everything and everyone involved in this situation, aside from himself, to be buried. And he made sure of that. He left the scene talking to Minerva about his success. After all of that, he went back to England and stayed there for about a hundred some years before he started traveling.
He traveled across the world, enjoying the different cultures, languages and foods of different countries. He made his first trip to Japan sometime during 2027 and decided to stay there for a while. Soon, he came across someone named Umiko while he was in his raven form. She reminded him of Aubrey. He couldn't help but take a strong liking to her. He wanted to get to know her better, and possibly have her become his eve. It wasn't long until he figured out she was a witch—her choice of the word “familiar” instead of “pet” made it clear. He didn't know anything about magick and spell casting so he wondered for the longest time if he should skedaddle or not. While she wasn't looking, he casually turned into his human form to ask her a question. Before he knew it, she was threatening him with a curse and he simply explained what he was and gave her an offer she couldn't refuse. The offer to become his eve and her familiar. She reluctantly took him up on the offer. She had already given him the name Alloces. The name of a demon. Fitting. The third time in his life he's been referred to a demon. Although this time, it wasn't in a supposed negative way. The next day she brought him a ring. One that looked like a curled feather. Also fitting. The pact was made and he took some of her blood to seal the deal. During the time he spent with her, he learned a lot about magick and the properties of herbs and gemstones. He often went "shopping" for candles, incense, herbs, gemstones and spell books for her while she was busy. With Minerva and Umiko around, he knew he'd always find himself amused.
