BIOGRAPHY
Yerik Chernoff, born Vadim Urusov, grew up in UFA, Russia. There he lived a relatively normal life—unless you count his father’s military experience that he'd later force upon Yerik. At age 12, his father sent him to a boot camp in order for him to train for his future in the military. Being 12, there wasn't much he could do about it aside doing it like he was told to. His father was stern and wouldn't have it any other way. Training was tough, but he grew to like it. He liked the pressure it put on him, and how it taught him how to defend himself when needed. Being a practical person, even as young as he was, he knew self defense could always be useful. His father kept sending him to boot camp year after year after year. Eventually, Yerik became the top dog of the camp due to all his years of training.
At the age of 18, once he was out of high school, he was drafted into the Russian military. In his first year, he had to endure the hazing known as dedovshchina, where second year draftees would often bully the first year draftees. The bullying usually got physical, and it’s not like he could do anything about it—there were many against one after all. He confronted his father about it, but all his father had to say was endure it. That he had it easier than he did back when he was in the military. It was an awful first year for anything. High school wasn’t even this bad, and he got picked on often.
The year was going on by slowly, and with many beatings. He endured it just like his father told him to. It wasn’t before long he met up with some underground hoodlums who got drafted into the military. They were the sort to sneak drugs in and weapons out. They were very good at covering their tracks too—you could accuse them, but you’d never find enough evidence to prove your claims. He ended up getting close to them—both out of curiosity and for discounts on their supplies. He used the drugs he bought from them just to get by with daily military life. He made sure to monitor his usage however—he had no intention on becoming addicted. After half a year of knowing them, he eventually became close enough where they offered to let him join up with them. He reluctantly took them up on the offer. He worked with them until halfway through his second draft year.
At age 19, they made him fake his own death. They needed more workers on the outside. He was “abducted” and was put up for ransom. No one ever payed for it, like they expected, so he was “murdered.” And they made sure to include the details of how they “destroyed” his body. Once that was over with, he had to get a new identity. That’s when he became Yerik Chernoff. In a way, he was glad. He absolutely hated his life as Vadim Urusov. Yerik Chernoff gave him the chance to start off entirely new. Of course, he worked as drug smuggler and was a dealer in the blackmarket. But his work paid good money, and fast. Fast money like that always was dangerous, and he enjoyed the edge it presented to him. He was perfectly suited for this lifestyle as well—with all his military experience, he knew guns well and he knew how to fight well too.
At age 22, his “company” wanted to start a fresh mark in Japan, and he was assigned to that team. So he was sent off to Japan. There, he’d plant a seed of a normal life, and live a double life as a black market dealer. As for what he deals with in that market, he deals with a little bit of everything. Stolen goods, counterfeits, weapons, drugs, identity theft, you name it. As for his day job, with a fake PHD, he works as a doctor. Of course his team has medical experts, and they taught him the ropes of medicine. He had to train under them for years back in Russia since this was going to be his get go job once he learned enough. Luckily, he learned just enough in time for when he moved to Japan.
At age 23, it wasn’t long before he came into contact with his servamp—a sleek man with a reputation for con artistry within his social circles. He found himself enchanted by him, and found himself wanting to know more about him. With how charming and eloquent he was, it was hard for him not to take a liking to him. He almost made himself up to be some kind of god among mortals. He was a very passionate man, and Yerik liked it. But this man was also a good liar, a trait needed for any con artist. After a couple of weeks, he had tricked him into becoming his eve. With the playful nickname Ecstasy, and an expensive watch, the vampire made sure to seal the deal in a seductive manner. After all, he couldn’t have his newfound eve getting angry at him right from the start. And it worked.
Now at age 24, Yerik has been putting up with his servamp for a whole year. While he still does harbor feelings for his servamp, but he knows better than to blindly trust what he says. If anything, he hopes there’ll be a point where he actually can trust him.
