So her fathers took a 'sick day' today. Saying they wasn't coming in because Emrys was sick. Snorting to herself she knew better then that! but she also knew better then to stay home on a 'sick day' So instead of going to school she decided to have a sick day too! after all if one was sick all three normally would be right? So When it was time for school Daelyn grabbed her school bag, waving at her parents telling them she will just catch the bus instead of having them take her to school when they was suppose to be sick. stuffing her sheet work in her bag she planed on going somewhere where she could play the piano for a while. Although it seemed like her father knew her better then she gave him credit for.
When Daiki had told her to have a nice shopping day instead of just hanging around by herself Daelyn found herself pouting at him. How dare he! Although it was nice when she was tossed his card. Gasping happily she quickly stuffed it down her bra with her cellphone. Waving by at him she quickly ran off. It was times like this she loved her -perverted, foul mouth father. Hopping on the bus she headed to the library to print off some new music sheets to kill some time. Looking up some more classical songs she thought would be a challenge as well she happily stuffed them into her book bag before heading off to the mall. she felt happy right now. She spent most her morning looking up knew, or rather old, songs to learn to impress her momma!
Now she was going to reward herself for being the good child she was buy spending her fathers money on things she might never wear more then a few times at most. first she headed over to the clothing store. Picking some new skirts and nice little tank tops that go good with it she just cooed happily when she went as far as to buy some new vest to go with them. Swiping the platinum card she stuffed it back into her bra once more. Running out the shop she headed over tot he accessory store later. she wasn't to surprised when someone realized her hair style. commenting about it. Grinning wide she batted her eyes cutely. "Isn't it cute? I style my hair after my mo.. father Emrys! You know the one from Dai revolution a while back. He colors it personally for me." She giggled happily.
Oh how she loved the part that came after when they would go on about how she was so lucky because she was the daughter of the singers from the band. She was a bit of an attention grabber and she knew it. Throw Emrys and Daiki name at others and she would get all the attention she wanted. Hell she loved the little discount to. waving buy at them when they asked to hang out with her. sure she knew it was to see if her parents really was who she claimed. Hell she'd bring them over just to prove a point. Why? Because then that one person would tell her friends and then more would know her! what was better then attention? Snickering happily she just started strutting through the mall not even watching where she was going.
"I got a feeling im on to something more! You think your cunning, its so convincing. Your going to miss me, i told you once before.~" She hummed one of their old songs to herself not even caring where she was going. that is to say until she noticed something in the corner of her eyes. Seeing a, well lets be honest, gorgeous guy her eyes lit up. Wow.. his hair looked almost orange.. sunset? a beautiful golden almost... what was that.. glasses? Damn! hello beautiful. smirking happily she fixed her skirt. Taking a deep breath she tried to think of the best way to meet him. Oh maybe a cute run into and knock him over be cute! That could work.. but why would she be running? Looking around she seen a music shop! Perfect!
Taking off running she quickly served around the other people. only to 'accidently' slam into him. Gasping loudly she found herself falling back after slamming into him. Falling on her butt. "Oww.. oww.." She whined cutely. Sitting there a second she forced herself to blush and quickly bend her knees to her side as if how she was sitting was inappropriate. "I'm so sorry! Are you okay? I.. i wasn't watching where i was going.." she frowned softly, playing cute as if she really was sorry and like she wasn't planning this the whole time.

don't worry
Taiyou didn't have work today, and Chizuru needed some shopping done. So, just so she wouldn't have as much work as she already did, he decided he'd take on the chore of shopping for her. Then again, he always did the shopping. He worked at a store, and got a discount after all. He bought most of the food, home supplies, you name it. What they needed was a brand new television, since the last one finally died out. He'd have to pay more to have it delivered though, which sucked. After all, this was all coming out of his bank account. Sure, Chizuru would pay back half of it later, but that was later.
Without further ado, he set foot outside and started heading towards the mall. He stopped by a cafe for a nice cup of sweeten, milky coffee—he couldn't stand black, or anything that wasn't sweet and milky, truthfully. But he did enjoy milky coffee. Especially since it was morning, and that's usually what kept him up in order to do anything besides sleep in. With all the added sugar, it definitely gave him a caffeine boost. Although, he knew he'd crash later. He just didn't know when.
After he had his fill, he left the cafe and started heading in way to the mall again. As soon as he got there, he started roaming around aimlessly. He had no idea where anything was, and he was awful at reading maps so the building maps they had didn't help in the slightest. The last time he came to the mall was so long ago, he couldn't even remember how old he was. But Chizuru was looking at this specific TV from one of the stores here—and it was on sale nonetheless. Better catch it before anyone else could! Although, maybe he should ask someone for directions. He was as lost as he could be, after all.
His eyes widened as soon as he noticed someone was about to run into him—and did. He let out a quiet noise of surprise as soon as it happened. And to his surprise, he wasn't even the one who got knocked over. It was the girl before him. She sure knocked him back a bit though. He saw her blush, which in turn made him blush a little. Why was she blushing? He shook his head as he felt his cheeks gaining a little extra heat. That was enough to get rid of it, luckily. The girl had started to speak, and he responded a little nervously. He still didn't get why she was blushing, and it distressed him a little. "Oh, it's fine! I'm fine! But are you?" He asked, reaching his hand down to her, offering to help her up.

Playing the innocent and helpless girl always seemed to work with these guys! Looking at him up close though she could see her blush was well deserving to be real! He was allot cutier up close. Now his hair was definitely a lovely Auburn! But the best part? It wasn't the fact that He was paying attention to her. No she would have made him pay attention one way or another! It was the fact that he was blushing as well. Feeling herself smirking on the inside she couldn't help but to be proud of herself right now. Did he think she was cute? Or was it her little act she was playing? Well what ever it was she was going to eat it up and play with it for a while till he paid her attention and hung around with her. What? she loved attention!
Looking at his hand she found herself smiling happily as she took it, happily helping herself up. Curling her hand around his she made a point to stand up in the most elegantly and none flashy way. Why? One, she had a skirt on. Two, she wanted to draw out holding his hand for as long as she could. Once she was on her feet she regrettably let go of his hand to fix her skirt. Brushing her hands over the back of her skirt to get the 'dirt' off. Her bags sliding down her arms as she done this. Looking back at him she reached up with her free hand to rub the back of her head in a embarrassed manner. "I'm fine thank you.. I wasn't watching where i was going... i was a bit excited to get to the music store.. I wanted some new sheet notes and.. i mean.. uh.. Ah! I'm Dokite! Please excuse my rudeness!"
Blushing harder she quickly bowed her head to him, both as an apology and a relief so she could let a small smirk cross her lips. Once she was sure she was sure it was out of her system she looked up at him. Her golden eyes peering into his. "I really should watch where i'm going.." She mumbled once more, giving a playful, yet nervous smile she quickly placed her hands behind her back. She was actually enjoying playing the innocent, absent minded girl right now. Thats what happen when you ran into a cute guy, you wanted them to notice you. From what she seen from the girls at the school.. Guys liked girls that played cute instead of her normal pushy and playful personality. Maybe if she got bored of playing nice she would let her true nature slip a bit.

don't worry
Taiyou noticed she took her sweet time getting up, not to mention she took a real good grip of his hand. It made him a little more nervous. Most people he's helped get up usually got up quickly, and let go just as fast. As soon as she let go, he reached up to adjust his glasses. The incident kind of brought them lower onto his nose, and he wasn't exactly the biggest fan of having them that low. Why he didn't just wear his eye contacts today, he honestly didn't know. The next thing he noticed about her was that she was wearing some sort of school uniform. Was she skipping school, or did she have a day off and just forgot? Not that he's really one to judge, he's a drop out himself.
"Oh, no it's fine. I'm Kogawa." He responded to her. The name Dokite sounded oddly familiar but he couldn't really put his finger on it. He shrugged it off. He'd recognize it later. Probably. As soon as she bowed and started blushing more, he tossed head off towards the side, embarrassed by the two gestures put together. He eyed her from the side, then decided to ask a question before she ran off. But first, he turned his head back towards her. "What instrument do you play?" He was curious, he did enjoy music an awful lot. It was easy to tell honestly, he always wore his headphones wherever he went. He thought about asking her about the school uniform, but maybe that'd be best left alone. For now, anyways. Then, it hit him. The electronics store. He should ask. "Oh, and do you know where the electronics store is? The TV at my apartment died out and they were having a sale on televisions." He explained. He wondered if he came off older than he really was, with the my apartment thing and the fact he had enough saved up to even buy a new television. That was a good three weeks of hard work for the price of the television. And he didn't even want to add in the shipping price. Why'd the damn thing have to go and break? Although, it was pretty old. He knew it was going to happen some time.
He thought for a moment. Maybe it would've been better if he just stayed in school and worked part time instead of full time. Then he wouldn't have to have any adult worries, or at least not as much of them as he has now. Even with a part time job he could still help pay some of the rent with Chizuru. But he's already made his decision. He's assured himself he's only getting these thoughts just because he's finicky. He stopped himself from getting more lost in his thoughts and turned his attention back to reality, and more particularly Dokite.
Kogawa. That was a cute surname! That would be easy to remember as well. Noticing how he looked away from her made her giggle happily. He was just the cutest! was he really the type that blushed easy? Oh she was definitely going to find a way to stay around him for as long as she could but how? What instrument do you play? Oh thank you god of music! Beaming with happiness she quickly blurted out "Piano! My Momma taught me how to play! I can't sing as good as Momma or Papa! So i stuck with an instrument instead! I'm really good with about any! But the piano is the only thing im passionate about." Just having him ask her made her excited. There was no way a nonmusical lover would ask that.
Tossing her hands behind her back she didn't even mind the little glasses falling halfway down her nose. They was fake anyways so it wasn't really like she needed them. She just liked looking 'smart.' Wait, didn't he just look over her outfit? Ha! Score her little cute act was working if he was taking a interest in her attire. As she was about to ask him something she quickly closed her mouth. Electronics? Looking around the mall she scanned the area for a sign. she should know this one! She came here every few days. But electronics? she usually let her fathers.. Oh! There it was! Wait apartment? well she supposed not everyone had allot of money and had to live in places like that. "I do! Please follow me Kogwa." She gave a soft giggle.
Granted she could have grabbed his hand and tug him along with her.. but she knew se had to play it on the down low. Not all guys liked a hyper girl that didn't care for personal bubbles. Motioning with her shoulder she closed her eyes quickly giving a happy little giggle before taking off. Sure she could have walked, but there was just something exciting bout running with others. sure she wasn't running at her full speed. No she was just breaking out into a quick sprint if anything. Looking back to make sure he was following her she dodged past a few people, spinning on her heels to show off a bit. Both her grace and her quick reflexes. What? Cat's was both quick on their feet as well as flexible.
Making it to the electronic store she stopped, taking a breath to make sure she wouldn't start panting. that was anything but lady like. Looking back at him she placed her hands behind her back once more. "Mind if i tag along longer? I might look at some sales" Sales.. that wasn't correct, she never looked at them because she really didn't have to now did she? But hey! She wanted to seem like they had something in common. Even if she had three bags of items on her arms. But hey! Who was to say she couldn't have caught a sale and was buying cheap things.. sure Emrys would have been happy to hear she was saving and being conservative, probably... but she was to much like her father to do that. shaking the thought out of her head she stood there, smiling softly at the male, waiting for his answer.

don't worry
"Oh, that's nice! I've always wanted to play an instrument, but I usually work too much to really have any free time to learn one, and lessons are more than I can afford on a regular basis." He commented on her response. He did work a little too much though, he spent a good fifty two hours a week working. He worked overtime a lot because his pay wasn't the best, seeing as he is a high school drop out. So, in order to make up for that, he'd work overtime. It's to the point where his boss will just give him days off like this one. He grew curious about the kind of music she listened to. Taiyou himself listened to a bit of everything. But, she opened her mouth to mention that she did know where the electronics store was, so he'd have to ask on the way there, or later. But first, she started running. No time for asking questions now. He chased after her and came to an abrupt stop when she stopped in her tracks.
She ran all the way to the electronics store, and he followed. He didn't break that much of a sweat, thanks to the track team he was on when he was still enrolled in high school. It wasn't that far from where they were. He probably could've found it by himself if he just kept on looking. He opened his mouth to ask the question, but she asked one before he could spit it out. "Sure, I don't mind." He said with a nod of his head. He was actually kind of glad she asked to stick around, he didn't like being by himself all too much. He then proceeded with his question, the one he had wanted to ask a while ago. "So, what kind of music do you usually listen to? I listen to just about everything." He gave her a gentle smile, before giving a quick look around the sore. And there it was. He reached into his pocket to grab his wallet, and took out his debit card. Wallet still in hand, he turned his attention back towards Dokite. He was curious what she was going to say, and besides, isn't it a little rude to ask a question then completely turn your attention away from them? Well, unless you were working on something with them that needed that attention he guessed it'd be fine, but that wasn't the case here.

He couldn't afford lessons? well it was true they could be quiet expensive and just because you paid for them that didn't mean that they would stick. Not everyone as meant to play music or read the notes. humming a bit to herself she started to wonder something. For now though she would focus on getting him to his place of choice before she seemed like some weird girl that had held his hand way to long. She didn't want to be labeled as a weirdo after all! so after taking off she actually found it fun that he was running behind her. It was really nice to know that someone was chasing after her. Ironic huh? Giggling at the thought she watched him. Seeing how he hadn't tried to take off yet, she took that as her chance to ask if she could tag along. When he said yes her face lit up with excitement. Perfect!
He was even asking about what she liked, or music. This boy. "Actually i like all! I hate heavy rap that you can't understand! But things like family force five i love because it sup beat rap that you can sing along with and not get tongue tied.. I love Screaming to! Actually! My parents used to be in a band when they was younger. They was really good to. Even made it pro! But Quit bout seventeen years ago. Have you ever heard of DAI REVOLUTION! My parents are Daiki Dokite and Emrys Aurely?" Giving him time to respond she'd toss her arms behind her back in a cute manner. If he liked allot of music he was sure that he had to know about them. If not for their music but the way the band went out. Their last performance. That's right she looked it up because someone mentioned it before to her!
** The crowd roared when Moving had come to an end. Daiki grabbing ahold of the bluenette (at the time) male frenching him on stage. Only to raise their hands up in the air, letting the cameras get a close up on their rings they wore. "AS OF TODAY! tHE DAI REVOLUTION WILL BE NO MORE. TODAY WAS OUR LAST PERFORMANCE TOGETHER! EMRYS AND I ARE GETTING MARRIED! THANK YOU AND GOODNIGHT, BITCHES!!" The Crowd both cheering and taking a fit because on the news of the band coming to an end. **
Yup! That was her parents! An attention whore -like her- and his back up singer that was just as crazy as himself. Did she mention she loved her crazy family? She could get away with -about- anything. Giving him time to respond to finding out who she was, what background she came from. She leaned a bit closer to him, not invading his space. no she wasn't that bad. She just wanted to give him a cute and innocent look when she said what she was about to next.
"So.. since you know i come from a very musical background and family.. I'd like to offer you some free music lessons. I can't sing as good as my parents but i take my musical talent from Mama, Emrys. So i wouldn't mind helping you learn something. If i don't know the instrument all that well, like a Bass guitar, I can get Mama to.. because Papa, Daiki, can't play one to save his life. Besides i need friends.. not allot of people want to be friends with me.. well not real friends. so it be nice to have a music loving friend." Giggling cutely she closed her eyes waiting for his answer. She wasn't lying about the friend thing at least.

don't worry
"Ooh, that's where I recognized your name from!” He buzzed excitedly. He liked DAI REVOLUTION well enough, he was a bit surprised he didn't recognize the name Dokite. Well, he did have the answer on the tip of his tongue, and that was awfully close to actually having it. But not close enough. At least, not for him. He was aware they had a kid but he was a bit awestruck by the fact he was actually with her now. But, she was still her own person. It'd be best to treat her like he'd treat anyone else. He finally decided to reply to what she said before admitting to being the daughter of Daiki Dokite and Emrys Aurely. “Yeah, Family Force Five is pretty good, though I haven't listened to them in months. The last band I listened to I don't think you’d like too much...They're what you’d call heavy rap. Aggressive rap at that too. But that’s Death Grips for ya.” He gave her a cheeky smile as he rubbed the back of his head. It only took him a short few seconds to decide he’d add onto what he said. “But they’re not my favorite band! I really like Wavves, especially their songs Too Much and California Goth. What about you? You got any favorites?” He asked, his attention focused solely on her for the moment. He was pretty curious about her. Plus, it’d be a great way to possibly find out about new music he could add to his collection. He always loved to add to it, even if some of it did annoy Chizuru or his neighbors when he played it on the speakers Chizuru got him for his last birthday.
He noticed her lean a bit closer, and he wasn't sure how to react. He wasn't that good with people getting close to him. It made him timid and bashful. At least she didn't lean in close enough to make him feel that way. With how easily he blushes, he’d get pretty damn embarrassed by it all. But what she said next made him pretty happy. “Ohh, that's kind of ya! And sure, there's no way I could say no to an offer like that! Any instrument would be fine, though I’ve always wanted to try out drums. And sure! I’d love to be friends with you! I don't have very many friends myself, since I work so much. I haven't seen any of my supposed friends from school ever since I dropped out, and I only have Chizuru to keep me company and she has to work a lot too so it does get lonely sometimes.” He stopped there. He knew he’d go on rambling if he didn't. She didn't have to know every little detail of his personal life, and truthfully she probably didn't care to. They just met after all. “But first, I gotta get that TV.” He sighed. He went over to the cashier and asked him about the shipping price. And as expected, it was expensive. He groaned lightly before handing him his debit card and paying for it. The rest of the money in his account would be going towards essentials and his half of the rent, he just knew it. Oh well, that's just life for you. He headed back over to Dokite. “Well I’m done. You were gonna head over to the music store, right? You don't mind if I come with? I got the day off, so I have all the free time in the world.” He chimed cheerfully, another cheeky grin sneaking upon his face. From how everything has been going so far, he had no doubt in his mind that she’d let him.

[break][break][attr="class", "tagit"]tag: Taiyou Kogawa [break]notes: She's just as happy!
[break][break]
[attr="class","raewashere"][break]
There was something to be said about how excited he seemed right now. She didn't know why but it made her happy. Not because he was all excited about her parents, but because he also followed by agreeing with her and even going as far as talking about what he liked. Saying she wouldn't like them. Giggling happily she nodded her head. "Thats true, i probably wouldn't it would all sound like a little frog on helium." She joked with him, smiling happily. This was actually fun talking to someone instead of trying to make them like her instead. A natural reaction and feeling wasn't something she was expecting but greatly appreciated that was for sure.
Shaking her head at him when he said it wasn't his favorite. That was good, if it was the two could never listen to music without her getting annoyed at the way they sung their songs.. if it could even be called singing. Wait her favorite band? Thinking about it she gave a soft hum. "Starset, i love the way they will use keyboard in their music. It just makes their music seem more relaxing and yet up beat. It makes me happy i guess." she said with a soft laugh, watching him she made sure to keep a appropriate distance behind him but she wanted to stay close and keep talking to him for a bit. Noticing the way he looked distressed about the payment she was about to offer something but figured that just be rude so she just smiled at him instead.
However, when he said that he wouldn't pass her offer up she found herself letting out a little happy sound. Not quiet a squeal but not a giggle. "Really? This is great! I'm so excited! Give me just a second!" She cried out happily, reaching into her shirt, well more like her bra. She grabbed out her cell phone. Quickly sending a text message to her mama saying 'I'm going to bring a friend over later. please make Papa behave. :) After sending her message to the red head man she quickly stuffed her phone back into her bra. She was so used to it that she didn't even think about how others around her might feel about her doing it. "In truce i don't have that many real ones either! the friends i have are more of my fathers fans then anything. Or just like the money! But hey! a friend is a friend."
Okay she didn't really care if they was her friend or not. She just loved the attention they would give her. It wasn't like she considered any of them a friend in the first place. But a lady must keep her appearance up! Strangely she liked the fact he didn't have many friends. This way she was sure if they was friends she'd get his attention, all of it. Well you know when he was around her! she hated sharing, even friends. Opening her mouth to speak she quickly shut up and tilted her head. Music store? Oh! She told him that's why she ran into him. Feeling her face flushed like his she rubbed the back of her head in an embarrassed manner. "Ah.. hah.. yeah i about forgot! Talking about bands with you got me distracted.. but yes please! I love the company."
Once she was sure he was done with what he had to here she walked beside of him. It was cute how he would get flustered when she was to close to him. "Oh, if we are going to be friends.. you can probably call me by my first name." She smiled sweetly at him, waiting for his response. Yet strangely she didn't really want him to tell her no so.. "It's Daelyn. Daelyn Emily Dokite. I was named after both my parents. Apparently its a sign of love between them." She closed her eyes, giggling playfully only to look forward as she kept walking. Humming softly under her breath she added a smile. "Japan looked different then what id imagine. It's allot bigger here. Back in Germany, where we was living. It wasn't quiet as busy or as big. It feels comfortable at least."
He told her a bit of his personal life right? Well maybe it wouldn't hurt if she gave him a little something to go off as well. She found out he was a drop out, no friends and lived with someone. Well She wasn't originally born in Japan, lived in a smaller place and new to japan. How could she speak Japanese so perfectly? well Daiki was born in Japan, her grandparents lived here! While Emrys was born in Germany. So it wasn't a surprise that she knew a mix of Germany, English and Japanese. As they got closer to the music store she thought about something. "Hey! In Germany they allowed you to play the instruments a bit in the music store to show you keys worked, strings was strung perfectly.. do they do that here? If so i wanna play you a song!" she looked up at him in a hopeful, excited manner.

don't worry
Taiyou thought about a frog on helium for a moment. It was amusing enough to say the least. He went on to listen to her next statement. "Oh, Starset! Can't say I've really listened to them other than a song or two. We should change that." He stated, a gentle smile forming over his lips. The few songs he's heard by them have been pretty good, he'd probably like other songs by them as well. Today was going pretty well. Definitely better than he thought it go. He grinned a bit at the thought.
He looked a little somber over the final price tag of the TV, but as soon he turned his attention back towards Dokite, he let his expression lighten up. "Yep! I'm excited too!" He cooed happily. He was pretty damn excited to get the chance to learn something. He could use a hobby other than wandering around aimlessly. He watched her take her phone out of her bra only to stuff it back in. It was a little weird, but least she's found some other use for it, he guessed. He simply nodded to her next sentence. He didn't really have much of an opinion on friends who were just friends with you for superficial reasons. He's never had any like that. He was kind of glad about that though. It must hurt at least a little to know your friends are only after your money or your fame.
He let another gentle smile take over his face as she said he could come with. "That's fine, I forget things like that every now and then too. It sucks when I do it on the job though. But alright, let's head out then!" He exclaimed, He was glad to have a new friend. Especially one around his age, just being friends with people around Chizuru's age wasn't always the best feeling. He sometimes felt like they didn't respect his decisions and treated his opinions as a minor thing. At least Chizuru wasn't like that. If she was, it'd kill him. They were supposed to be roommates after all. They had to decide on some things together, and if she couldn't do that he'd be more like a child to her than anything else. That wouldn't be like they were roommates at all.
"Alright, Daelyn, you can call me Taiyou." He spoke softly. He was starting to get more comfortable with her presence. As in, he was starting to get comfortable with being close to her. Not too close, of course—not anything that would break personal space. He was always going to be shy about being touched, and he knew that. Except if they're just casual touches from family members and close friends. Then he wouldn't get flustered about it. There wouldn't be anything to be flustered about, as far as he could tell. "Oh, so you're from Germany? Nice! I've never been out of Japan before. But hey, at least you're comfortable here!" He wondered how it must feel to be uncomfortable in a country where you were supposed to live. Definitely would not be a fun experience, he knew that much.
As they came closer to the music store, he listened to her ask a question. "Y'know, I'm not really too sure. I've never really been to a music store—the price tags always found a way to scare me off. But that's a nice gift either way, thanks!" He chuckled a little nervously. But it was definitely worth finding out. He saw no reason why they wouldn't let them try out the instruments. Most places had a display of the instrument set out from what he's seen. As they walked into the store, he looked around. It was bigger than he thought it'd be at the very least. He spotted the pianos, and looked at Daelyn. He wasn't sure if he should head over first or if she should. He decided he would just go with her when she went over to them herself.

we should change that, he said, not I! Smiling happily at him she couldn't help but to nod her head. she liked the sound of that! It sounded like he was planning on hanging around with her more. Or at least take an interest in music she liked. This was what she needed. A friend that loved music. sure she could tell him that if he had stuck in school just a year longer he could have met her parents. that the two was teaching at the academy now just so they could all be close before she graduated and went off to college. Yet, she really didn't think that was why her father suggested the idea at first but she knew better to ask. the answer might not be something she needed to, or wanted to know. Shaking the thought out of her head she focused back on him. This was about her, not them! Well okay maybe Taiyou too.
Seeing how excited he was, having him admit it actually caused her to blush a bit more. It was strangely cute and she wanted to pounce on him and hug him. But she knew better! She couldn't let her excitement get the best of her. She needed to learn that just because she was a cat, she couldn't pounce on new friends like you've known them forever. she would get her chance. She just needed to wait till he liked her better before pouncing on him and being her normal self. For now she needed to focus on things she could do and things she could get away with. Shaking her head at him when he mention the job. "Hey what is it like working? Is it fun? Where do you work at anyways?" She caught herself asking him question after another only to realize how that might have sounded.
Stopping in her tracks, inside the store, she quickly waved her hands in front of her face. Blushing harder this time from embarrassing herself. "I-I mean.. i never worked before.. So i was just curious what it's like working.. and um.. oh! If i may ask that is!" She some times forgot that Japanese people spoke differently, that they had allot more respect and common curtsey thing. well you couldn't blame her,she hasn't been here long. a year tops so she was slowly catching on to their things. Turning away from him she bit at her inner gums. taking a breath to calm herself she looked around to distract herself. There it was! A nice black piano. It looked so pretty! She loved black ones. Maybe she could connivence Emrys to buy her a new one and let her give the old one away to someone. After all the school could use a new one!
Shaking the thought out of her head she was being irrational again! The one they had was perfect, it was brought from germany because she wouldn't leave it. she didn't need a new one. she was just distracted by the shinny of the.. oh wait Taiyou? "Taiyou? Heheh, the first thing i thought of was You-kun. Silly me. But yes im from Germany. We lived there for fifteen years. after Gramps passed i wanted to come here. I've never met papa's side of the family. He doesn't talk about them, as if he could care less. So since he won't talk about them. I decided if i cant meet them i can at least learn more about this side you know?" Daelyn also failed to mention that Germany wasn't the same no more without her grandfather around. That she wanted to get away from the place that reminded her that he was no longer there.
walking over to the piano she sat her bags down on the floor. Taking a deep breath. Looking at the keys she casually touched a few, testing to see if it really was in tune or if it was out of tune. After a few little taps of the keys she decided it was tuned just fine for her liking. Looking up at Taiyou she wrinkled her nose cutely at him to try and catch his attention. "Sarset, antigravity is what i'll play for you." Counting in her head she took a moment to recall the lyrics in her head.
Starting off soft and slowly she moved her fingers on the keys. Slowly she picked up just a little speed, her wrist crossing over on another to hit he keys while her left hand stayed on one set of keys repeating the notes. smiling softly enjoying the sweet sound, she soon started picking up just slightly to give it just a inch of fast rhyme. Humming the song along in her head to keep tract of what she was playing. Looking up at him this time. Her fingers dancing on the keys this time quickly to give faster rhythm beat, showing the song was starting to pick up in its rhythm, lyrics even. only to go back to its normal pace. Focusing back on the keys she just kept the rhythm going till she finished up her song.

don't worry
"Oh, having a job is such a drag. I work as a cashier at Yorittsu, y’know. The little convenience store. So, I always have to stand. And count. I’m supposed to work at least five or six hours a day, but I usually work overtime so it’s more like seven hours a day.” He sighed as he spoke about his job. Sure, he worked hard but he was incredibly lazy otherwise. He hated doing any sort of physical labor. He liked going places and he had to motivation to do things, so he wasn't entirely lazy he supposed. But lazy enough. Oh hey, he noticed she was blushing, and blushing hard at that! It was kind of cute. He's never really had a girl blush at him like that before, even if it’s just from embarrassment. But it still made him blush a little in return. He shook his head in response. He didn't like being seen blushing to be blunt. He cleared his voice and decided to ask her a question. “S-so, you look around my age. I’m guessing you're a high school student? What year are you in?” Since she said she has never had a job before, he decided to ask her about her school life. It was close enough to being her work life, right? School was literally teaching you how to work after all. He wondered if he would've ran into her at all—he would be a third year this year after all. He then thought back to his curiosity about her outfit. It was a school uniform. Now would be a good time to ask. “Hey, since we're talking about it, isn't today a school day? I mean, not to be rude, but I just noticed your outfit is all! It looks kind of like a uniform.” He rubbed the back of his head nervously. Maybe asking wasn't such a good idea after all. It could make it seem like he’s trying to budge into her private affairs. Just asking what year she was in isn't too bad, but asking if she was basically skipping? Maybe a little too personal. She would probably have her own reasons, right?
“You-kun? Huh. You could call me that, I don’t mind!” He chuckled, a large grin overcame his face once again. He was actually kind of happy—no one has given him a nickname before. Well, unless you count some of the things his mother called him. But they weren't so nice obviously. “Oh wow, that's a long time! I’m guessing you speak German fluently? Man, you're lucky! Before I dropped out I always had bad grades in any language class. Well, except for Japanese.” He gave a her a bedazzled look as soon as he said that. He liked linguistics, it's just that he wasn't any good at it. “But I am sorry to hear about your grandpa. Must’ve been a pretty hard hit. But hey, at least you get to learn about the other side of your family.” He said in response to her telling him her grandpa. The death of a family member could sure hit hard. He knew that from first hand experience with his father. The heart attack was so sudden, he wasn't expecting it. Then he had be sent to live with that demon of a mother he had. Luckily he found Chizuru. She's more of a mother than his actual mother ever was.
As soon as she started going towards a piano, he followed after. He noticed her wrinkle her nose. She was going to say something, wasn't she? He gave her his devote attention. “Ooh, this should be gooood!” He whispered to himself as he heard her say she was going to play him a song. He was pretty excited, she was going to play this song just for him. It was an honor honestly! He paid his full attention to the song she played. It was absolutely beautiful. She definitely did have a knack for the piano. As soon as she finished, he gave her a huge smile before complimenting her playing. “That was so good! You really are a great pianist! It was so elegant.” He cheered. Today was such a cheerful day for him. He couldn't help but smile.

She couldn't help but to be tickled by the way he seemed to hate his job, or the hours so much. Just thinking about it she made a mental note to stop by that little convenience store ever once in a while. People went there after all! sure she didn't but she could always change that if it meant to see a friend. That wasn't weird right? She could so buy some cherry flavored things to make it a point she liked them and had a valid reason to why she was there! Shaking the thought out of her head she didn't need to get distracted when she had a goal! Blushing didn't help her at all either! So se tried not to make to much eye contact with him right now. Well that is to say until he mentioned her age. Oh, she hated that question. Most people cared for age right?
"I'm sixteen, i'll be seventeen in December.. I should be a third year but i was held back because my birthday. So im just a sophomore." Puffing her cheeks at the thought, she hated how un fair that was! She wanted to be out of school already! She was so close and yet so far away now. Shaking the thought out of her head she decided to go ahead and answer what he had said next. "I skipped. My parents took a sick day so i was going to pretend to get on the bus and go to school! But Papa said i might as well go shopping since that is where i'll end up anyways." She laughed a bit at the thought. It was funny to think about how well he knew her when she would ignore him more then little because she preferred Emrys company because Daiki was to embarrassing.
Seeing him Grin actually made her happy! It seemed like he enjoyed the name so that made her so happy, even more of a reason for her to play a song simply for him. She could come back to the Germany comment later the one about her grandfather.. she just nodded her head. She really didn't want to talk about it. Well she brought it up yes! But she didn't like talking about him to much. "He was a good man.. he was a human though.." She mumbled the last part under her breath, fully focusing on her music now. Hearing his whisper, just barely thanks to her cat senses she just smiled while she focused on her song. She would sing, but she really had no intentions of ruining it with her slightly off pitch singing.
When her song had finally died down she took a soft breath looking back at him, only for her eyes to go wide at his comment. Giggling happily she looked away trying to calm her self down. she was used to comments like that yes, but normally they was only half assed or just from her parents so she never took any of them to serious. So hearing him say it was strangely wonderful. Taking a moment to calm herself down she looked up at him. "If you have a request i could probably easily play it so long as i know the song. But thank you, that makes me happy to hear that.." She mumbled a bit to herself towards the end. Looking over him once more daelyn found herself smiling a bit. "Hey,You-kun! I have a favor to ask you." She quickly spun around in her seat, her hands resting casually on her lap.
"Since you speak of elegant and school. They are having a Masquerade at the school. I've never really been to one before and I'm sure someone as goodlo-" Nope! She was going to go a different direction before she killed herself on this one. "Popular as you have been to a few.. would you come with me? i mean.. friends can go together can't they?" Nice save, she thought to herself. Although, being nervous to ask that, let alone about call him good looking she found herself blurting out something else. "Germany is my native tongue! for fourteen years that's all i spoke until i realized i was part Japanese too! So i bugged my parents to teach me because i wanted to come here one day." Okay like that didn't make this worse for her. Holding her head down she didn't know what was coming over her. Since when did her shy act because reality? Maybe she really wasn't all that used to speaking to guys after all, well not ones she found kinda attractive at least... No that wasn't it. It was his genuinely that made her nervous and a nervous wreck.

don't worry
”You're not much younger than me. Only a year and a half! I’ll be 18 soon.” He cheerfully explained. He was two years away from being a legal adult in Japan. And he knew he'd be ready for it! He's been living like an adult ever since he moved in with Chizuru. He was responsible enough and definitely reliable enough. Or, at least he was when it came to rent. Cleaning or anything like that you couldn't depend on him as much. Sure, he'd pick up minor messes but he wouldn't even bother with anything major. He'd just walk right by it like it didn't even exist. “Skipping, huh? Better than dropping out.” He shrugged, a gentle albeit worrisome smile tugging at his lips as he said it. Being a dropout didn't have the best benefits—like if he got fired, there won't be too many places lining up to hire him. He wouldn't have the best pay either. He knew all of that. That's why Chizuru would be taking him to get a GED when he turned eighteen. He wasn't looking forward to it even slightly—he heard it's hard. He's not the brightest kid on the block either.
He listened to her say something under her breath after she said her grandfather was a good man. He tilted his head, and let out a quiet ’hmm?’ sound. She sounded reluctant to talk about her grandpa, so he'd just leave it at that. She was starting to play her music anyways. Best focus on that. “Any song ya know, huh? How about something by Beastie Boys? I’m sure they're popular enough that you might know a song or two.” He gave her a big grin. He was glad she offered! It was really sweet of her. But really, he wanted to hear something by FIDLAR, but they might not be as well known. He leaned in a little closer when she started to mumble. “Oh, it's no problem! I’m glad it makes you happy.” He said bluntly. She was really good and he wouldn't deny that, and if she felt happy to hear that than all the better! He liked making other people happy. Everyone could smile a little more, and if he could help out with that he would. Doing that made him happy as well. He turned his attention back to her when she said she needed to ask a favor of him. If he could do it, he'd be happy to provide. “The Masquerade? Sure, I’ll go with you! I didn’t go to last years, so it'd be nice to go this year! And of course friends can go, it beats going by yourself. Though, I'm really not all that popular, haha.” He chuckled a bit nervously. Did she think he was popular? And what was she going to say before? He was curious. But maybe it'd be best to just let it be. Maybe she just chose the wrong set of words and didn't realize it until she was speaking. Happens to everyone at some point. “Well hey, you're here now! So did get what you wanted. And you learned most of your Japanese in two years? That's amazing! How's your kanji coming along? I still screw up now and then but I got most of it down.” He hesitantly admitted to the last part while rubbing the back of his neck. It was embarrassing to admit, but maybe it'd make her feel better if her kanji wasn't the best. But he wasn't lying at least. He did screw up sometimes. He was thoroughly enjoying his time with her. He wondered where they'd go next.
“Oh, hey, you hungry? We can stop by the food court if you are. I’ll buy!” He gleamed happily at her. Truthfully, he was starting to get hungry himself. All he had for breakfast was coffee. Really sweet coffee because of all the sugar and cream he put in it. And it was delicious. But not enough to fill his gut to say the least. He leaned to his left a bit, hand on his hip, as he waited to hear her answer.

Smiling at him she couldn't help but to let out a playful giggle when he went from his age to saying skipping was better then dropping out. "Hey! I'm not dropping out, i just didn't want to go today, i don't skip often. Besides if Mama is supposed to be sick don't you think it's more believable if i am too? If one gets sick all three does right?" Wrinkling he nose cutely at him she couldn't help but to enjoy herself right now. Taiyou was just to cute. She wasn't sure if he was concerned about her skipping or if he was just making a point, either way it amused her. She wouldn't drop out of high school because she wanted to finish up and make her graduation one to remember. Maybe she was a bit to self absorbed at time. Oh well it wasn't going to hurt no one.
Beastie Boys?Yeah she was pretty sure she knew a few songs by them that she could play. She would have to listen to a song first to hear the rhythm of it, but that wasn't no problem! Thats what youtube and music store was for! She'd find a good one she thinks he should like and perform it later for him. Just thinking about it made her excited. If she played him music he should go with her to the masquerade shouldn't he? Surely enough after she asked him he said yes. That was just great! She would pick a really pretty outfit and a mask that would go nicely with it. Oh this was exciting. She was sure she'd be the one others envied because she had such a handsome guy on her arm. Man talk about a grand, first, ball! She almost wanted to go shopping for a dress now, but she would have Emrys help her find one instead, that way she could talk about her day while they tried to find something that said 'Daelyn'
Nodding her head happily when he suggested they should get what she wanted. wait... she really didn't want nothing.. it was an excuse to meet him.. well fuck.. Looking around she tried tot think of what she'd want. she could always order some sheet notes. That was it! She'd order some from the Beastie Boys and something else so it wouldn't seem weird.. she knew all the star set by heart.. Thinking about it she tried to think of a band she liked. Oh! What about 'Icon for hire'? She was sure they would have some, or could get it! Bouncing over to the counter she couldn't help but to get excited. Perfect! She wouldn't look like a weirdo now. wait.. Kanji? Groaning she looked back at him. The truth of the matter it sucked. She was horrible and pretty sure she wrote it backwards because she was used to left to right.
Ah, hah.. well.. i can speak Japanese and i can read Japanese! But i can't do Kanji.. i can't really understand it or.. Im used to left to right.. so im great with speaking, reading it and writing it is a different story." She rubbed the back of her head in embarrassment. she was good but she wasn't that good. She was still human, so to speak, so she wasn't going to be a master at everything. Quiet the opposite actually. "But Papa is trying to get me in the grove of it.. But his attention span is as bad as mine." She sighed heavily at the thought. She knew so long as she didn't have to write to much she could make it here. Menus? She would ask them if they had anything she wanted or what they suggested. Allot easier then you know, looking dumb.
Making it over to the counter she ordered: Icon for hire, off with her head. And anything they already had in stock for Beastie boy. Going through the options she picked one she liked. Stuffing it in her shopping bags. Only to reach back into her shirt once more pulling her credit card, really Daiki's, out of her bra. After it was paid for she simply slipped it right back in there. It was allot better then in your pockets! If someone tried to steal from her there she would see them, her pockets? Well they was called pickpockets for a reason. Turning to look at him she could actually feel her stomach growling now that he had mentioned it. "It's a date!" She chimed happily, playfully at the mention of him paying. She wanted to offer to pay, but it was rude to turn down someone's kindness after all.~
